Dubenskyi Castle
This castle used to be the richest and the most majestic in Europe. Many tourists are still trying to find the lost treasures of the Ostrozkis that were allegedly hidden in the castle dungeons.
There is even evidence that 49 custom-made treasure chests with jewels used to be kept here. Besides, it is the fortress whose walls have witnessed events described by Gogol in ‘Taras Bulba’
Dubenskyi Castle was once saved from the Tatar invasion by a beautiful bride. That's not even half of all interesting and unbelievable facts hidden in the fortress that we will surely learn.
Tarakanivskyi Fort
This fortification was built in the Tsarist Era to protect the railroad that stretched from Lviv to Kyiv.
However, no important events occurred in this fortress, since it was poorly designed by the Russian Command.
Tarakanivskyi Fort is a diamond-shaped building with 6 meter high walls. The castle walls are 240 meters long. They are fortified with wide and deep ditches. The fort itself occupies an area of 4 hectares.
Escape game along the dark corridors of the Tarakanivskyi Fort
Tarakanivskyi Fort is a great place to run various competitions and festivals. The exclusive escape game program is one of a kind and was designed specifically for this tour.
Participants of the extreme tour should follow the instructions to prevent injuries. You can easily get lost in the dark corridors of the fort, so be careful and try not to drop your torch.
Walking tour to Mlynka Cave
Visiting one of the most stunning caves in the country is a must-do item of the itinerary of the extreme tour around Western Ukraine.
The walls of 40 kilometer long corridors and spacious halls are covered with breathtaking colorful crystals. Natural holes in the ceiling let sun beams get inside the cave.
The temperature in the underground corridors does not exceed 10 °C. There is an ordinary tourist route for the extreme tour participants who are not sure of their abilities; however, extreme lovers can enjoy a more complicated route as an option.

Rafting down to Dniester
An amazingly beautiful canyon, located on the border of four Ukrainian oblasts, begins in the Ivano-Frankivsk region and ends in the Ternopil region.

The valley is a stunning place because it is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters above the sea level.
Mount Pip Ivan is a difficult route for real adrenaline junkies
The extreme tour participants will be able to try their hands at hiking along the mountain trails. The mountain that is also often called Chornohora is more than 2,000 meters high.
You can reach the top of the mountain in different ways; however, all the trails pass through picturesque meadows and let you admire beautiful views.
The ascent of Mount Pip Ivan by the extreme tour participants will begin in Dzembronia village. This route is considered one of the most picturesque with its trials, difficulties, and advantages.
Rafting down to Black Cheremosh
A fast and dangerous mountain river flowing down the eastern slope of the Carpathian Mountains will give the tour participants incredible impressions. It is here that you can feel crazy energy and drive.
The descent down the Black Cheremosh is a real physical fitness and spirit challenge for participants of the week long extreme tour.
Be sure to feel an incredible adrenaline rush and have a blast like never, struggling against the forces of nature. You will enjoy steep rapids, green mountain slopes, high cliffs, and clean air.
Museum of Hutsul Magic
The Museum of Hutsul Magic in Verkhovyna is a very unusual and ‘atmospheric’ place. Here you can hear unique stories about nature spirits and the peculiarities of coexistence with them, and learn the secrets of recognizing magic signs and symbols.
You can even believe in the existence of people with supernatural powers. There are numerous fascinating artifacts and unusual exhibits.
And finally, the Museum of Hutsul Magic became one of the top ten most weird and mysterious museums in Ukraine.
Horseback riding and trekking in a mountain range called ‘Dovbush Storehouses’
This area is known for finds from the unique rocks where ancient people performed magical rituals.
These rocks were actively used by Ukrainian rebels headed by Oleksa Dovbush as a secret hideout.
Horseback riding will let you experience the beauty of mountain forest and feel like a real traveler. Besides, participants of the extreme tour will be able to spend time alone with the horses.
